The Plainville-based For Kids Sake Foundation is putting on its first Annual Gold Gala fundraiser Friday night, Sept. 25, at Plainridge Park Casino. The event will raise funds for neuroblastoma research as well as families of children diagnosed with neuroblastoma. The foundation was started by the parents of Malia Jusczyk of Plainville, a young girl who since 2011 has battled neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of childhood cancer. She is currently in remission.
